We Brit’s, we just love our pets, they are our loyal and faithful companions, indeed part of the family. A portrait of your dog or cat captures the very heart and soul of your best friend, at your home or chosen location across the North West and North Wales, we create the magic and capture the images for you to enjoy for a lifetime. From newly born pups and kittens (they certainly don’t stay young for very long) captured in your own home to ensure the safety of your pet as they may not have had their inoculations at this point.

For the younger and more active dogs we can head out to a woods, a beach, your favourite walk or the safety of an enclosed dog walking park. Whether you want a posed portrait or leaping across a stream, I work with you to get the best images that you want so you can cherish them for years to come. Older dogs may not want to go charging around the woods, but may prefer the comfort of your garden or a local park, again I work with you to capture the kind of images that you prefer.

Some useful tips about having your portrait taken

First and probably most important is aim for a good nights sleep before your photo session, you want it to be fun and be fully alert, but you also don’t want big bags under your eyes.

Drink lots of water to keep you and your skin hydrated, the difference can be quite startling

Clothes is always a big question, the children may love their new “T” shirt with their favourite group on, what happens when they don’t like them any more? Use clothing with as little logos or badges as possible, a variety of colours that work with your hair and skin type, for example, a beige dress doesn’t work well with a fair skinned blonde lady or girl, whereas a dark coloured dress will.

Make up can look great, but also not so great, don’t over do it, we want you to love your images where you look your best.
